The Philadelphia Emerald Society Pipe Band is designed to provide pipers and drummers with a fun and challenging venue to play and grow, whatever their age or skill level may be. We have beginners groups for youth and adults as well as a parade and performance band. We are unique among Irish bands in that we have the Delaware Valley’s only competition corps and currently compete at the Grade 4 level. For those who want to improve their playing ability and represent the very best of the Greater Philadelphia area’s Irish piping and drumming, this is THE band!
If you are interested in learning more, or would just like to join us for a practice to see what’s going on, please contact President Joe Tobin (home: 215-487-0166, cell: 215-990-0457) or Pipe Sergeant John Collins (cell: 484-557-5069).
